Active Health Sleep Workshop

During the Public Service Week, Nutrition/Sleep/Physical Activity workshops are conducted to initiate conversations so participants can be more aware of their wellbeing conditions.

Joelle conducted a sleep workshop and she was sharing about the importance of sleep and how it can affect the work productivity for working adults. She was also giving tips and advice on how to get a good night sleep and the benefits of sleep hygiene.

In the workshop, there are also video clips that feature Dr Richard Swinbourne, a sleep doctor who is part of the Active Sg family. He also gives talks to educate why more sleep matters.

I feel that sleep is a pretty interesting topic to look into as screen time disrupts the sleep domain as digital devices are considered sleep assassins. These two domains are inter-connected with each other. I may look further into this theme.
