Lasalle Show MA Showcase - Seniors' works

We went for The Lasalle Show 2019 to have a look at our seniors' works to understand how they have translated theory into practice and theorising practice for their research topics.
Showcase by Jeremiah Tan. His research is to investigate the lack of sizing standardization for South East Asia and its impact of the default international sizing on South East Asia consumer on their purchase decision. He wanted to examine the state of international sizing and question the relevancy international sizing standards on SEA consumers based on their geographical and anthropometrical development.

Showcase on Food Waste, turning 'ugly rubbish' into tasty and edible presentations
Showcase on Wayfinding in Toa Payoh Town by Nur Syairah. She wanted to explore how participatory design can be applied to address a technical issue in urban planning. The research was initially driven by visitors who had trouble navigating through the spaces in the town.
Showcase on Contemporary Crafts and Design in Singapore by Benson.

We had a good interaction with our seniors when they shared their research processes with us at the exhibition. It will be interesting to see how their work can help or impact the community in the long run.
